I spent last weekend (May 6-8) at the hotel. The staff are really nice, helpful and kind. In general I had a very pleasant experience but I should state that the best part of the hotel (including the restaurant) is the staff who work there.

Functional rooms and a nice sea view, however tired and dated. Over priced for the standard of room and pictures on the website are misleading. Furniture needs replacing and the bathroom was also not completely clean with hairs that had to be washed down the drain.

Helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable room. Flavoursome evening meal at Sea Spice followed by a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant the following morning!

Big old hotel in Aldeburgh. Nice rooms, well appointed. Friendly staff. Sprawling layout, Wi-Fi can be patchy. Small lift hidden behind reception is useful. Big bar. Choice of lagers. Lovely breakfast. Eggs Benedict and toast. Rear rooms opposite houses. Remember to close curtains.
