The room was not what was pictured. The beds were not in a line and it made it impossible to get to the bathroom with less that 1 foot between the beds. They put us next to the office, which allowed us to hear all of the doors closing and what sounded like filing cabinets. Rooms definitely need to be remodeled. The proximity to the train station is the reason we stayed here, so if that's all you care about, then it's great. Easy walk.

Location, location, location. The rooms could use some maintenance, the bathrooms are small but adequate and the rooms are a bit on the noisy side. But for rail travelers, the location of the Fairway Hotel is very convenient. Close to its extensive train, tube and bus stations from which you can quickly reach the rest of London (or beyond). There are plenty of food and beverage outlets within a 15-minute walk, and last but not least, the hotel room rates are very favorable!

We have nothing to complain about! The location was absolutely perfect! We had direct access to everything major in London (sites, Camden, soho etc). The room was clean, provided everything we needed and we were more than satisfied with the quality/price ratio. The cleaning lady was such a nice person! Would recommend and will be coming back when i'll be in London again.

Good hotel with kind staff. Even though we only managed to open the front door with the keys once on the 4 night stay, they helped and buzzed us in every single time. The room was clean and neat, a towel and a small bar of soap per bed. The wifi was excellent. Tea, cups and towels were washed/replaced daily. The beds were remade daily, and all our stuff was untouched. There was even a fan in the closet if we needed it.

The only small thing was that the tube seems to run directly below the room. I imagine this isn't as noticable if you have a room higher up, but we had a lowest floor room so it was noticable. For us it wasn't an issue as we both sleep with headphones, but I would recommend a room on a higher floor if you'd struggle with a few rumbles every few minutes.

Reasonable price for the location Not too far to local underground station Down point is they don't serve food but there is a nice little coffee shop the double 6 Would highly recommend this restaurant for a cheap and nice quality cooked breakfast

I was most impressed with this hotel, not only for the price, but it's location. It was perfect for my needs, as I had an early start due to an Eurostar service to Paris I was taking. Rooms are small (which I already knew when I booked), but are spotless and come complete with free WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities. En-suites are small, but as a wet room they are perfect. I have nothing to complain about. If you have mobility issues, there are no lifts, so you may need to question stating here. That said, you now know.
