Just had a stay over, with my dog at the Abbotsford. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Mid- week, busy with locals as well as visitors. Great location for parks and the shore front. We will definitely be back. Excellent value.

The best pub in Ayr in terms of atmosphere, good staff, and great beer. Class establishment for young and old, my dad has been going for many years now that I am a man grown I am continuing this venerable tradition.

Had the bacon cheeseburger from here and it was perfect. Never had such a good burger in all my life! Although the menu did state I would receive fries with my burger and I did not. We booked a table in the bar for 6 people and were made to sit at a table clearly meant for 4 and it made it very uncomfortable while eating. The hotel/restaurant has a very unique look with tons of decrotive and antique pictures and ornaments. The staff were very attentive and polite although the young bar maid seemed more interested in talking to her friend at the bar than serving customers
