We have just experienced the most laid back, comfortable and welcoming establishment. I wish we could have stayed longer. Every member of staff, from the delightful Quintin, breakfast ladies and even the laundry man were superb. No airs and graces, simply fine hospitality and friendly people. We were fortunate to be given one of the ground floor apartments in the courtyard. The facilities are great and the apartment, spacious.
Very comfortable indeed! Bed was very good. Breakfast was delivered by lovely staff and meant that we could totally relaxed. Maybe this is a service which could be offered after covid restrictions? It made such a difference to our stay. Great breakfast too. On a personal note, I would prefer to have the choice of unsmoked bacon. This was SUCH an enjoyable, relaxed, comfortable stay. I would love. To return. Thank you to all. XXX

Delightful hotel in a surprising charming location. So much more than a sugar beet factory - gardens, abbey ruins, well kept gardens, and a run of interesting high streets and other walking locales - good stuff.
