Briars Hall offers a historic country house setting for weddings with 5 acres of gardens. We host ceremonies and receptions for 10-200 guests across three venues including an outdoor pavilion. Our dedicated wedding planner coordinates every detail from initial consultation to final execution.
Luxury Accommodation
We provide 25 elegantly furnished guest rooms including two bridal suites with Jacuzzi baths. All rooms feature modern amenities like free WiFi and flat-screen TVs while maintaining period charm. Complimentary parking and 24-hour room service enhance guest comfort.
Corporate Events
Our conference facilities accommodate 20-200 delegates across two function rooms with modern AV equipment. We offer day delegate packages from 35 per person including meals and room hire. Residential packages include overnight accommodation and full board.
Fine Dining
Stones Restaurant serves locally sourced British cuisine daily with a seasonal menu. We offer Sunday carvery, afternoon tea, and special dietary options. The bar features traditional ales and an extensive wine list in a historic setting with antique furnishings.

What wedding packages do you offer?
We provide full-day packages from £6,500 for 50 day guests and twilight packages from £5,500. All include venue hire, catering, accommodation, and wedding planner assistance.
Can we visit the venue before booking?
Yes, we host regular wedding open days and offer private viewings by appointment. You can book a venue visit through our website or by phone.
Do you accommodate dietary requirements?
Our chefs can cater for all dietary needs including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Please inform us of requirements when booking your event.
How far are you from Liverpool?
We're located 17.7 miles from Liverpool city centre, approximately a 40-minute drive. Complimentary parking is available for all guests.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made more than 48 hours before arrival. Full payment is non-refundable for cancellations within 48 hours.
Do you have conference facilities?
Yes, we offer two function rooms with capacities up to 200 delegates. Day delegate packages start at £35 per person including meals and equipment hire.

We recently had our Wedding event at Briars on Friday 6th May, we can't praise the venue or the staff enough. amazing first class service in every department, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Every aspect of our wedding from to start to finish including the planning with Karen was excellent. The food was fantastic, served hot and any dietary requirements were taken care of in the right manner.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was top class. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone for any kind of function as you will receive first class service in beautiful surroundings with attention paid to every detail in a nice friendly manner.

Just had our sons wedding reception at Briars Hall. Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are amazing, the grounds are beautiful, room and food are top quality. Bedrooms are great and comfortable. Totally awesome in every area.

Had an absolute amazing time at my best friends wedding. Everything went perfectly, the staff was top class. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Very polite and attentive. Me and my wife stayed over and the room was spotless. The next day the breakfast didn't disappoint and service again was top class.
