We have nine guest bedrooms at The Collingdale Guest House in Ilfracombe, Devon, six of which have stunning views over the harbour and the Nature Reserve at Ilfracombe, with three overlooking the front of the house and the wooded area beyond. Our superior balcony view rooms are very popular, as you can sit outside with your morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening and watch the comings and goings in the harbour.

Ilfracombe really is the food-capital of North Devon with a number of fine-dining restaurants, bistros, cafe bars and tea rooms, many of which have alfresco dining giving it a Continental feel. We have an excellent selection of fine-dining restaurants and trendy cafe bars within just a few minutes walk from The Collingdale; serving everything from freshly caught fish and seafood, meat supplied from local farmers with traditional English dishes, Spanish tapas, Italian, Chinese or Indian and good old-fashioned Fish & Chips.

A week of events. My partner and I had a fantastic week long stay. Sharon and Daryl were so welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. Sharon knows the area very well and gave great recommendations for places and restaurants to visit which made our trip even more enjoyable. The guest house itself is spotless and so well cared for.

There are approximately 40 on street parking spaces along Larkstone Terrace, Hillsborough Road directly at the front of The Collingdale, these are free of charge with no time limits, we also have the benefit of two longstay car parks. If you are travelling to us from outside of the UK or require directions from an airport simply enter the city or airport name instead of a postcode.
