Location was beautiful. Both the surrounding grounds and interior of the hotel was stunning. Location was a bit tricky to get to. If coming late at night, pay close attention to the turns. Signage leading up to the hotel is difficult to see and google / GPS takes you down a goat road if you are not careful. Rooms were very spacious! Comfortable and well equipped for a hotel stay. Breakfast was delicious, although the wait staff at the restaurant was a little rude when we showed up 5 mins late for breakfast (we weren't told a cut off time upon check in). Otherwise the stay was lovely and well priced for the accommodations

This is a beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds with lots of wildlife including deer. The hotel itself has wonderful period features but has a cosy feel. The staff are lovely. The four poster bed was so comfortable, I removed the sheet in the morning to see what type of mattress is was.

Attended a wedding in the woodland area and it was fabulous. Even the rain didn't spoil it. Seating was in a large yurt with separate bar and food service areas and fire pits. Separate covered small dance floor. A perfect setting.

Absolutely stunning Castle, not too big but big in history. Each room has character and a great story. It's well worth having the castle tour to learn about the history. Our guide Steve was amazing. I loved listening to him. The outdoor activities are so much fun too. The afternoon tea was lovely and very reasonable in cost. Our evening Meal in the restaurant was perfect too. We will definitely be back.

The place is lovely, who doesn't want to stay in a Castle? We couldn't get food during the day and finding staff was a difficult task but we appreciate there was a big wedding on. Breakfast was decent although the older waitress was a bit moody, when I asked for a refill she abruptly put it down and made a point of saying ' here's your EXTRA coffee'. As if I'd ask her to go and grind them herself. All and all a very enjoyable stay.

After finishing the quad biking experience, could not get signal service to get a taxi home. The receptionist a lovely lady (dark hair), helped us with getting the in contact with the taxi company. While we waited, another lovely lady at the bar, very friendly and served us our beer and got to talking, general conversation. The bar area had a good theme, comfy chairs and sofas.

Can't recommend Hazlewood Castle and Spa enough! We have just returned from the most wonderful weekend to celebrate a friends 30th birthday. The staff were absolutely delightful, they bent over backwards to accommodate our requests and nothing was too much trouble. We were incredibly lucky to have been assigned a room within the castle where our large group could hang out and it really made the trip so special.

The treatment was bliss, the building and grounds beautiful, fab food and just great vibes. Amazing value for money and the whole experience felt really luxurious. Would be a beautiful place for a wedding too. Thanks so much to the whole team at Hazlewood Castle - we will most certainly be back soon!
