We stayed for 4 days three weeks ago. We turned up as strangers and left as best friends. The rooms were faultless, the service was great - sometimes a little slow at breakfast due to pressure of work -no problem. The seafood was incredible and I know for a fact that when we return -which we surely will - we will be greeted like long lost best friends with hugs all round. I have read the few negative reviews a and have come to the conclusion that not every wierdo is safely locked away. Rock on Pierhouse people, can't wait until for our next visit Gwynne and the rest of the team x x x x

Stopped here for snack and decided to have the fishpie, which was exceptional home cooked food. Ordered the South African Chenin Blanc which was also delicious. Best of all they allowed our small dog in too. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area
