Excellent host and really nice food. Bed was great and we both had a really good sleep. Would recommend if visiting the area, very close to the train station and walks to the viaduct.

Second stay and was worried it wouldn't/ couldn't live up to the first visit. It did. Clean, bordering on luxurious rooms, fabulous food and run by possibly the friendliest people in Scotland.

We didn't stay here, we were just passing and stopped in for dinner. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious - even offering some intriguing flavours of home made ice cream with dessert. The decor was as lovely as the staff, and the meal was top quality. We would definitely eat there again!

We booked this hotel for one night to break up the drive from Lewis back to Glasgow but it ended up being a highlight of our trip! The room was very comfortable and the dinner we had in the bistro was exceptional with fresh local seafood and a beautiful venison steak! The wine was very reasonably priced too and afterwards we treated ourselves to some personally selected whiskeys. The service was outstanding and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was similarly delicious. We'll definitely be back for another visit - hopefully for a longer stay!
